A century ago, in 1902, the French protect government decided to establish of Medicine University of Indochina in Hanoi, a first university of the Indochinese Peninsula with the model of the West. The first Rector was a famous physician of the world where medicine is very attached to the country of Vietnam: Dr. Yersin.
