Soc Trang College was established in 1975 with the name of the Secondary School Teachers Hau Giang. By 1992 the old division into provinces of Hau Giang and Soc Trang, Can Tho. Dated 26.4.2001 from school was upgraded to Soc Trang Teachers Training College.
