Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team and managers to understand project specifics.
- Analyze and select the necessary scope of work for QA processes.
- Plan and execute software lifecycle testing.
- Conduct thorough testing at different development stages and evaluate results.
- Create detailed test plans, and test cases, and ensure thorough documentation.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, as well as perform regression testing.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Liaise with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to meet system requirements.
- Oversee the QA process and modify testing procedures as necessary.
- Provide recommendations to improve product quality and ensure successful deployment.
Must-have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a QA role, with a focus on software testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Proficiency in writing test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with SQL and scripting.
- Proficiency in software development and software QA.
- Japanese language proficiency is not mandatory but would be highly advantageous.
- A degree in a relevant field may be preferred.
- Certificate in quality assurance is a plus.
- Start-up company in Vietnam, but in Japan we have more than 1,000 members.
