Kim Tin Group, which was established since 2000, specializes in trading welding rods, welding wires, welding materials, ferrous metals,… imported from such nations as Japan, Korea, India, Thailand, China and so on. However, Kim Tin Group, in the context of increasing demands of the market, invested in a welding rod production plant at Hai Thanh Industrial Park (Binh Tan District) with capacity of 4,000 tons/year to replace the imported products. In 2006, the Group enhanced the plant capacity up to 17,000 tons/year under the brand of GEMINI. This is a new development when most of welding wires in Vietnam are imported.
