JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Spearhead the exploration, creation, and implementation of state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to devise and enhance algorithms that tackle intricate business challenges.
• Ensure the precision, efficiency, and scalability of the developed models.

• Drive the formulation of data-driven insights and solutions using machine learning techniques.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to access, refine, and transform data for analysis.
• Apply statistical modeling and employ cutting-edge methodologies to extract meaningful insights.

• Oversee the deployment and integration of machine learning models into operational systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure sturdy and scalable implementation.
• Establish monitoring mechanisms to track model performance, identify anomalies, and initiate necessary improvements or updates.

• Assemble and lead a team of machine learning experts, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure successful project execution.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
• Define team objectives, delegate responsibilities, and conduct regular feedback and performance evaluations.

• Remain up-to-date on industry trends, research publications, and advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, and networking events to promote knowledge sharing and stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices.

• Present timely, accurate, and comprehensive reports regarding job-related information to the Board of Directors on a regular or ad-hoc basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in a related domain.
• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in computer science, data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in guiding machine learning projects, preferably in a leadership capacity.
• In-depth comprehension of various machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in coding languages like Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Sound knowledge of statistical analysis, experimental design, and evaluation metrics for machine learning models.
• Shown capability to lead and mentor a team of machine learning professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at effectively conveying intricate concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Robust problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, emphasizing practical and scalable solutions.
• Established record of delivering impactful machine learning solutions that foster business outcomes.
