Job offer: Operations Officer

COMPANY OVERVIEW  
JAC's client is an international asset manager corporation looking for a Operations Officer

Location: Ho Chi Minh city

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Coordinating the collection of trade settlement documentation with counterparties, dealing teams, and investment.

 

• Writing up payment instructions for the appropriate trades and contacting counterparties again to finish the settlement procedure.

 

• The first line of defense when working with counterparties to settle disputes pertaining to daily fund and portfolio transactions.

 

• Recording every transaction within the trading date in the pertinent systems.

 

• Regularly settling accounts with custodian banks for cash and securities.

 

• Setting up instructions for stock withdrawals or deposits.

 

• Coordinating with pertinent parties to deposit or remove tangible share or bond certificates.

 

• Gathering transactional data and accurately entering creation and liquidation into the system before the price date.

 

• Following up and gathering more unit pricing information/data upon request.

 

• Drafting reports for clients and regulations

 

• Helping the line manager with operations process automation.

 

• Keeping an eye on and organizing the department's files.

 

• Assigned administrative tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS  
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Operation Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accountant, Banking, Economic or related field

 

• At least 3 years in the financial industry, preferably in operation management, asset management, banking, insurance or security

 

• Ability to analyze information, evaluate options and to think and plan operationally

 

• A highly self-motivated problem solver, and solutions focused thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities and to set deadlines

 

• Proficient use of MS Office and experience with database

 

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
