• Manage BOM and costing process for all of upholstery products from factory.
• Review the CAD on sample drawing and production drawing to clearly the different cost.
• Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact or potential incremental volume.
• Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs.
• Forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor and inventory.
• Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions.
• Conduct market research to support future business planning
• Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
• Estimate production costs for existing and new products.
• Work closely with production department to get the right figures and update the standard B.O.M.
• Work closely with purchasing team to get the optimal price of each material and wood frame
• Negotiating price, quantity and delivery schedules with suppliers
Job Requirement• Extensive knowledge of BOM
• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required
• Strong communication skills and being able to work under pressure
• Independent, highly motivated, pro-active and result oriented
• Proven experience in the furniture manufacturing industry
